The Black Keys - No Rain No Flowers

The Black Keys - No Rain No Flowers

No Rain, No Flowers is the thirteenth studio album by The Black Keys, released on August 8, 2025 through Easy Eye Sound and Warner Records.

Recorded at their own Easy Eye Sound Studios in Nashville, the duo of Dan Auerbach (guitar/vocals) and Patrick Carney (drums) also self-produced the album, marking another chapter in their evolving sound.

🔍 Concept & Sound

The album arrives after a challenging year for the band, including a canceled arena tour and changes in management, and carries a theme of resilience and renewal — “No rain, no flowers,” as the title track says.

Musically, it blends their blues-rock roots with stronger pop, soul, disco and groove influences. They worked with prominent songwriters/producers such as Rick Nowels, Daniel Tashian and Scott Storch, bringing new textures (piano, lush arrangements) to their familiar gear-driven approach.

  • Tracks like “All My Life” lean into disco-funk grooves, while others like “Man on a Mission” retain more of their classic rock edge.
