Dead Alive - The Madness of Dr. Ludvig Von Brainmatter

Dead Alive - The Madness of Dr. Ludvig Von Brainmatter

Rising from the dark corners of Nashville’s underground — Dead Alive, a horror thrash metal band that fuses the fury of classic thrash with the twisted spirit of old-school horror cinema. Forged in 2015 by The Skeletal, Count Scapula, from his love for horror, haunted houses, and Metal that could wake the dead, Dead Alive has been ripping the skeletons from their audiences and growing their Skeleton Army [fans]!

The Madness of Dr. Ludvig Von Brainmatter is Dead Alive's sophomore album which sees them honing in their cinematic story telling style. A story about a scientist and his decent into madness, that starts as a fun and exciting jaunt of re-animating the dead that then takes a turn when everything goes wrong - and the mad doctor has to grapple with failure.

The story takes shape across 11 tracks that evolve in different interpretations of metal stylings. From bouncy thrash metal and extreme death metal to slow doom songs and uncomforting black metal tracks.
