The album contains 13 original songs, but LaFarge deliberately writes and performs them as if they belong to an earlier generation.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"PDq2pG_selectionAnchorContainer\"\u003e\u003cstrong\u003e\u003cem\u003eMiddle of Everywhere\u003c\/em\u003e\u003c\/strong\u003e as \u003cstrong\u003esunny, dusty, swinging, handmade and deeply American\u003c\/strong\u003e. It's nostalgic without being mournful.
